Go Big or Go Home

Today is my 6-year wedding anniversary and tomorrow is Mother's Day. I felt a little bit like a kid with a birthday right next to Christmas. We rarely do much to celebrate anyways, but it was the principle of it all. And, Adam kind of makes it difficult for himself as well:
  • I get breakfast in bed on a regular basis, sometimes two days in a row
  • There isn't a day that goes by where he doesn't tell me how beautiful I am, what a great mom I am, or forget to mention how great the house looks when I've cleaned it
  • To add to that - he never speaks negatively when I haven't cleaned it
  • And when I remark just how messy the house gets when I don't clean it, he doesn't get defensive - he just says, "You're right."
  • He always leaves the last soda for me
  • He is always telling me to go buy clothes for myself, or that I deserve "such and such"
With all those perks on a regular basis, what do you get the girl that has everything? Answer:

I may or may not have cried when he handed it to me and I opened the box for the first time. Perhaps only another photographer can appreciate what it feels like to hold your new camera for the first time. So, with the two holidays so close together I could have gotten jipped but instead Adam went all out - it was go big or go home. Adam simply said to me "Happy Wedding Day Gift".

While I often remark I've been stuck with Adam for 6 years (and the rest of eternity), I count myself very lucky he is stuck with me. =)

BTW, I have a suggestion if your old camera needs a new home. =)
