I was devastated this week to hear that the famous
Provo Tabernacle in Utah had been destroyed by fire. I remember sitting in that beautiful building for many stake conferences - including one where I was able to hear President Uchdorf when he was "just" an Apostle. That building was built by the pioneers - the pews were original. Adam and I would stare at the structure while dining at Los Hermanos - one of our favorites - on Center Street in Provo.
Then, this evening my friend Kelly posted this picture on her Facebook:
Such an amazing image! The fire ravaged everything but the image of the Savior. It brings tears to my eyes.
I love that picture. Thanks for sharing! I am too, so sad to hear about the beautiful tabernacle! We always had stake conference in there.
