Trunk or Treat

I realized I forgot to post about our Trunk or Treat put on by our ward at church. I never pass up an opportunity to dress up, so when I came up with our family theme I was pretty excited about it. We went as the cast from Tangled! Adam was Flynn Rider, Autumn was Rapunzel, I was Mother Gothel and Brody went as Pascal, Rapunzel's pet chameleon.

Who said a 4 year old is too little for hair extensions?

Our friends went as a minion family - I just thought this image of both dressed up Dad's and their babes was too cute.

All of our costume's were easy enough, but Brody's proved to be harder as there are not any chameleon costumes to be found. Plenty of dinosaurs and lizards, but no chameleon's. I ended up buying a Monster's Inc costume, which ended up being too small and the wrong color. So, in 5 minutes I whipped up another jump suit to match the fabric of the hat I covered. It was a hot mess, and if I'd had a lot more time it could have been better, but you know.

It was a good time and the first year we've actually been able to have a true trunk or treat. It's rained every year, so it was a whole new experience for Autumn. She loved going car to car with grandpa!
