Family Pictures 2013

A few weeks ago I carved out a Saturday especially for our family pictures in my busy season of taking so many family shots for clients. I asked one of my closest friends (and second shooter) Chance of Chance Hammock Photography to help me out and dare to capture our family of four! We drove out near Shenandoah National Park to my friend Lynnie's 7000 acre farm. That's not a typo - it's seriously seven-THOUSAND acres.

The pictures turned out exactly like I envisioned in my head, and I'm so grateful to Chance for being able to really capture the personality of our family. It was painless (well - mostly, Autumn DID throw up on the way there) but I'm so glad it's over! Now that I've had a chance to go through and edit my favorites, here are just some of the photos that are soon to adorn my walls!

Thanks again so much to Chance (and his wife Jenny, who became Autumn's new BFF that day) and Lynnie for letting us use her property and opening her home to us!

  2. YAY!!!! So glad that you got so many of your beautiful family and so many that you like. I LOVE the one of the whole family with the hills in the background - the first one after the one with Autumn eating her fingers. :-) Come on back anytime. We loved having you!
