With my slow season in full swing (but still a pretty full calendar, holy cow!) I have big plans to work on more of our "Year In Review" Shutterfly books. Often I post statuses to my Facebook profile of funny things the kids say or do, but I realized I want to remember a lot of those things for the future. I'm sure the kids will get a kick out of them someday.
So, while I just posted this on FB, I want to remember it for future use in one of our books...
Autumn informed me that the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was going to be on "Sunday at 11!" I told her that we'd be at church, but we could tape it. She paused, looked at me funny and said, "Tape it? You don't tape it. Why would you put tape on it?" I laughed and corrected myself, saying we would "record" it. For the past 2 minutes she's been lecturing me about the uses of tape. Generation gap anyone?
