Easter Egg Hunt

This morning the kids and I were able to hangout with some friends from church for an Easter Egg play date. It was nice to get out of the house. With my stomach condition flaring up a lot recently and medication giving me some crummy side effects, I've been a hermit lately. Autumn, although a bit shy at first, had a great time running around our gracious host's house with the other kids. She ended the party with a long embrace with "her friend!" Hallie and didn't stop talking about her all afternoon.

Autumn was still a little shy at this point, so she passed on playing Duck, Duck, Goose... which I'm pretty sure she doesn't know how to play anyway.

Brody hanging out while we looked after the eggs. Kyle, my friend's kiddo,  was keeping an eye on things.

Ready, set, go!

It was a fun morning and the kids were exhausted afterward. We have a few more things planned over the weekend and then next week the cousins are coming! We can't wait for warmer weather for more playdates and hanging out outside.

  1. The neighbor kids invited Rachel to play Duck-Duck-Goose with them the other day. She had no clue what was going on. Ha!
